Charalampos is the husband of Maria and the father of Spyros. He is uneducated and very cruel. When he drinks he becomes violent and abusive with his wife and son. Charalambos is the kind of person who can go to extremes as he believes that the only way to enforce is violence. He doesn’t like music and doesn’t want his son and wife to have anything to do with the festival and Orestis.
