Christoforos Papakaliatis is an actor, director, and screenwriter. He was born and raised in Athens.

Christoforos Papakaliatis always manages to get the best reviews for his series and his performances and this year “Maestro” managed to break every record and even became the first Greek series to be on Netflix. He is a very successful actor, writer and director, who has proven that every time, whatever project he takes on, he will always get it done and make a great impression.

When he was 16 years old, Christoforos Papakaliatis sent his resume to an advertisement looking for actors. After passing the casting he managed to get his first role and since then he followed a brilliant career in acting and one success after another. His participation in the series “The Unacceptable” was to give him the impetus for the world to get to know him and build his career thereafter. Slowly he became very sought after and participated in very well known and successful series. Some of the most famous ones are: “Ten Little Kids”, “Anastasia”, “Anatomy of a Crime” and “Touch of a Soul”.
At the same time, in 1999, Christoforos Papakaliatis took the decision to start writing his own scripts and the success of his first series entitled “Our Life a Ride” gave him the opportunity to develop his talent and many more followed which were always a huge success. Some of the best-known are: “Take Care of Me”, “Three Wishes”, “Two Days Only” and “Maestro”.

Initial apparitions in teen-oriented television programs

Following his appearance in The Unacceptable, he went on to guest star in four different programs during the 1992-1993 season. In particular, he is known for his role as a major cast member in the television series The Guards of Achaia. He also appeared in the television series Women and Kostis Palamas. 1999–2010: writing and directing for television programs

In 1999, he made the decision to strike out on his own and begin producing his own television shows.
